I wrote this to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the World Trade Center bombings, and
the sentiment remains the same. May we never forget.
If you were to count up the hundreds of—thousands of—random acts of kindness and genuine care for each other, the likes of which I witnessed firsthand ten years ago today, if you took each of those moments and strung them together like bulbs on a line, they’d shine like a beacon in the dark and make for a safer passage through.
